1. JOE WODOHODSKY, SR.

Joseph Bernard "Joe" Wodohodsky, Sr., of Dixon, was born on March 11, 1929, at Dixon a son of Wenzel Frances and Agnes Mary (Winterbauer) Wodohodsky and departed this life at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019. Joe had attained the age of 90 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Mr. Wodohodsky was a United States Army veteran and had been a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Dixon. He had worked as a mechanic and welder at Fred Weber Construction in St. Louis and was a member of the Local 513 IOUE Union, St. Louis for over 50 years.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Wodohodsky include: his better half, Rose Derickson, Dixon; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Shirley Wodohodsky, Dixon; one sister, Claire Ann Wyrick, Owensville; nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Wodohodsky was preceded in death by his son, Joseph B. Wodohodsky, Jr. on October 1, 1983; his father, Wenzel on June 30, 1979; his mother, Agnes on April 10, 1993; one brother, Louis Wodohodsky on November 28, 2010 and two sisters, Rosemary Blyue in 2009 and Lorraine Mueller on November 9, 2016.

Funeral services were held for Mr. Wodohodsky at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with the Rev. Joseph Hoi, St. Theresa Catholic Church officiating.

Interment was in the St. Theresa/Eagan Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Mr. Wodohodsky include: Luther Riddle, James Wodohodsky, Jason Wodohodsky, Darryl Akery, Jim Parker and Jeff Derickson.

Masses are preferred by the family with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
