John Franklin Robertson, of Barnett, formerly of Waynesville, was born on August 6, 1935, at Waynesville, a son of William Irvin "Jack" and Gusta Viola (Mahoney) Robertson and departed this life at 6:45 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Dixon Nursing and Rehab Center, Dixon. Mr. Robertson had attained the age of 84 years, 4 months and 1 day.

Mr. Robertson was a Waynesville school bus driver for many years and later worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Coon Hunters Association and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing music.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Robertson include: his children, Donnie and Teresa Robertson, Dixon; James and Beverly Thompson, Laquey; Sandra Robertson, Barnett and Nancy Thrift of the state of Oklahoma; two sisters, Betty Bays and Ollie Koch both of Columbia; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Everett Robertson and two sisters, Ruby Bowles and Lucy Baker.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in the Pisgah Cemetery near Dixon.
