Jonathan Winston Crews, of Crocker, was born on October 27, 1932, at Washburn, Missouri, a son of Herbert and Irene Mabel (Tully) Crews, and departed this life at 12:37 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, in the Mercy Springfield Hospital, Springfield. Mr. Crews had attained the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 26 days.

Mr. Crews was united in marriage on March 18, 2003, at Waynesville, to Betty Clarice Atwell. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Crews was a United States Navy veteran and had worked as a custodian for the University in St. Louis.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Crews include: his wife, Betty Crews, Crocker; one step-son, Robert Layman, Jr.; five step-daughters, Jane Livingston, Terri Layman, Barbara Walters, Beth Layman and Shawn Layman; and many other relatives and friends.
