Judy Katherine Calhoun, age 79,  of Crocker, was born on July 24, 1946, at Pittsburg, Kansas, a daughter of Harless and Eva (Singleton) Smith and passed from this life on Monday, September 22, 2025 in the Oak Pointe of Rolla.

Mrs. Calhoun was united in marriage on October 22, 1967, at Crocker, to Mr. James Arthur Calhoun, Jr., and to this union, two daughters were born.

Mrs. Calhoun was baptized early in life and at the time of her passing was a member of the Crocker Christian Church. She had worked as an accountant in civil service at numerous places while following her husband's career in the military, retiring after 30 plus years. Judy enjoyed crocheting, sewing, watching mystery shows and hummingbirds and spending time with her grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

Those left to mourn Mrs. Calhoun include: her daughters and their husbands, Michele and Carl Schrier and Amanda and Joe Neighbors all of Crocker; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brooklyn, Ireland and Tucker; two great-grandchildren, Braelynn and Harleigh and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim on March 4, 2010; her parents, Harless and Eva; one grandson, Joe Eric Neighbors, Jr.; one great-grandson, Lance Arthur Hill and her sweet pup, Maverick.

Visitation will be held for Mrs. Calhoun from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11 a.m., all on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel at 416 N. Commercial Street, Crocker with Bro. Jimmy Moore officiating.

Interment will be next to her beloved husband in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Mrs. Calhoun are Carl Schrier, Joe Neighbors, Tucker Neighbors, Stacey Shelton, Caleb Newcomb and Hank Newcomb. Honorary pallbearers are Brittany Shelton, Brooklyn Neighbors and Ireland Neighbors.
