Judy Ann Lopac-Slawson, of Crocker, was born on August 7, 1943, at Minneapolis, Minnesota, a daughter of Emil George and Dolores M. (Driessen) Lopac, and departed this life at 8:25 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017, in the Mercy Springfield Hospital. Judy had attained the age of 73 years, 4 months and 29 days.
Judy was united in marriage at Waynesville to Willard Slawson, they had enjoyed 23 years together when Mr. Slawson preceded her in death in 2004. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marie Brown and Judy's twin brother, Tom Lopac.
She was a member of the St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Crocker. Judy was bookkeeper and owner and operator along with her husband, of Sonny's Equipment. She loved animals, especially her pets.
Survivors include, her son, James Brown, Las Vegas, Nevada; her granddaughter, Jeanie Brown, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; one brother, Charlie Lopac, Glenwood, Minnesota; and many other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Crocker with the Father Joseph Hoi officiating. Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery at a later time.
