June Carol Kelley, of Rolla, was born on December 14, 1939, at St. Louis, a daughter of Harry and Mary Goot, and departed this life at 4:41 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in the University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia. June had attained the age of 74 years, 2 months, and 19 days.
June was united in marriage in St. Louis to Frederick Leroy Kelley. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 1, 1998 and her parents.
June was a member of the Show Me Beagle Club and had worked for Missouri Home Care, Rolla, as a health care provider. She enjoyed attending field trials for the beagle club, cooking and crocheting.
Those left to mourn the passing of June include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Patrick and Beth Kelley, Rolla and Fred Kelley, Jr., Dixon; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Debbie and Gary Rowden, Iberia; Linda Kelley, Rolla; Mary and Wyatt Wilson, St. Louis and Laurie Kelley, Rolla; special friend, Don Whyte, Montgomery City; one brother, Harry Goot; one sister, Gloria Taylor; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted for June at 11 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Pastor Gary Rowden, Pentecostal Church of God, Mtn. View, MO, officiating. "Amazing Grace" and "What Won't Be There" were played for the funeral service.
Interment was in the Seaton Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for June were Ricky Kelley, Virgil Kelley, Joe Horn, Josh Horn, Wyatt Wilson, Jr., and Michael Wilson.
