Kathleen Martha McPherson, 78, of Crocker, was born on December 14, 1943, at Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Arnold and Ruth Meitz and departed this life at 8:55 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation, Hermitage.

Mrs. McPherson was united in marriage on August 11, 1962 at Detroit, Michigan to Mr. Donald Lee McPherson and to this union, two children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Meitz and one sister, Nancy Shoeffelberger.

Mrs. McPherson was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Lutheran Faith. She later rededicated her life and became a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She was a cook for many years and later worked for Wal-Mart as a cashier for 13 years. She and her husband also took care of disabled veterans. She enjoyed watching tv, knitting and attending church functions.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. McPherson included: her husband, Donald "Don" McPherson, Crocker; her son, Tony McPherson, Crocker; her daughter and son-in-law, Laurraine and Jim Wilson, Osage Beach; two grandchildren, Joshua and Christina; three great-grandchildren, Jason, Matthew and Dante and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Rev. Phil Rab, Walk on the Water Faith Church, Osage Beach officiating.

Interment in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
