Katrina Michelle Vaught, age 44, of Dixon was born on July 23, 1982, in Weisbauden, Germany, the daughter of John Edward and Kathryn “Perkins” Vaught, and passed from this life on Monday, July 27, 2026, at her residence near Dixon.

Katrina was a member of Victory Hill Baptist Church, Dixon, and was a 2000 graduate of Dixon R-1 High School. She worked as a home health care assistance and truly enjoyed working with those that need the most help. She also enjoyed knitting and doing diamond paintings.

Those left to mourn the passing of Katrina include: her parents, John and Kathryn Vaught, Dixon; one brother, Anthony John Vaught, Austin, Texas; one nephew, Joey Vaught; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herbert Dean and Margaret (Peggy) Vaught, and maternal grandparents, Junior and Irene Perkins.

Per her wishes the family elected cremation under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation services, 205 West Third Street, Dixon, Missouri 65459.
