Juanita Kay Medley, of Milton, Florida, formerly of Dixon, was born on July 31, 1953, at Dixon, a daughter of William Nathan "Buck" and Ethelean (Davis) Medley and departed this life on Sunday, May 27, 2018, in the Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, Florida. Kay had attained the age of 64 years, 9 months and 27 days.
Kay lived in Dixon most of her life and attended Dixon Schools. Following her graduation, she went to work at Fort Leonard Wood, retiring from the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in 2013, after thirty years of service. She then moved to Jefferson City with her daughter until 2015, when they moved to Milton, Florida. Kay enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and gardening.
Those left to cherish Kay's memories include: her daughter, Lora Medley; two grandchildren, Destanie Kay Rain Medley and Tyren William Medley; her nephews, Keith Medley and his wife, Glenda and Nathan Richard Medley and wife, Kelly; her niece, Rebecca Medley Ford and her husband, Johnny and Becky's son, Javon Morris; and many other relatives and friends.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harvey Medley and his wife, Janet and her sister, Judy Medley-Veasman.
