Kenny
Sullins
Jan 30, 1942 — Apr 10, 2022
David Kenneth "Kenny" Sullins, age 80, of Crocker, was born January 30, 1942, at Crocker, the son of Gerald Bartlett and Kathryn Rosetta (Shaw) Sullins, and passed from this life Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Phelps Health, Rolla.
He was united in marriage June 25, 1965, at Iberia, to the former Joyce May Prater, who preceded her husband in death December 30, 2021.
Early in life, Kenny made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized. He and Joyce were members of Hawkeye Baptist Church and worshiped there for many years. Kenny was a great storyteller and would keep the tale going long as he had someone to listen. Being extremely talented with his hands in creating leather pieces, he crafted saddles, bridles, holsters, and most any other item made from leather. Kenny's daughter, Carolyn, still has and treasures the saddle he made for her. He was also talented in crafting handmade knives, which he created in different styles and sizes. Kenny was known to try most anything which included working as a rodeo clown with a trained mule. During most of his working life, he had been employed in construction as a self-employed carpenter, prior to his retirement.
Those left to celebrate the life of Kenny include: One daughter and two sons, Carolyn Allen and husband, Mike; Dennis Ringer and wife, Carol; and Rick Ringer and wife, Lori, all of Crocker; six grandchildren, Holli Ringer, Nathan Allen (Haydee), Erica Harrison (Trent), Aaron Allen (Fiancee, Lori), Ashley Burton (Joe), and Kate Ward (Benji); twelve great-grandchildren, Isabel, Zoe, Charlie, Henry, Jacob, Laney, Ely, Carter, Cole, Clyde, Mathew, and Makayla; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father, Gerald, on January 27, 1999; his mother, Kathryn, on July 29, 2010; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Olive Sullins; and his maternal grandparents, Alan and Ova Shaw.
Visitation for Mr. Kenny Sullins will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home, 416 North Commercial, Crocker, MO 65452 with his funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Doug Jacobson, Eureka Baptist Church, Richland, officiating.

Honorary pallbearers for Kenny will be Danny Malone, Bruce Malone, Richard Prater, and Mike Prater.
