Obituary

Larry Dean Krumwiede, of Dixon, was born on October 27, 1956, at Chicago, Illinois, a son of Robert Lee and Bonnie L. (Buckner) Krumwiede and departed this life at 12:31 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2021 at his home near Dixon. Dean had attained the age of 64 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Dean was united in marriage on June 7, 1980 at Wentzville, to Deborah Jean Hughes and to this union, three children were born. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob on June 28, 1990; his mother, Bonnie on March 23, 2017; his step-father, George Sedlacek on July 15, 2020 and his father-in-law, Larry D. Hughes on February 2, 2002.

Dean was a graduate of Thornton Fractional North High School Class of 1974.  He had worked at Fort Leonard Wood in maintenance for the Balfour-Beatty Company for the past sixteen years. Dean enjoyed bowling, golfing, NASCAR, traveling and being on the river.

Those left to mourn the passing of Dean include: his beloved wife, Deborah Krumwiede of the home near Dixon; his children, Kristal (Ken) Warner, Jerome; Larry (Patrice) Krumwiede, Cedar Springs, Michigan and James (Laura) Krumwiede, Howard City, Michigan, his grandchildren, Robbie and Eliza; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Cindy Krumwiede, Dyer, Indiana, his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Radavich, Beecher, Illinois, and his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Joy Krumwiede, Cedar Lake, Indiana;  numerous nephews and nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

A reception celebrating Dean's life will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Signature Event Center at 1701 Martin Springs Drive, Rolla, MO  65401.
