Leonard Davis, of Crocker, was born on August 11, 1939, in Davis County, Iowa, a son of William Robert and Alma (Hamilton) Davis and departed this life at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Davis had attained the age of 81 years, 3 months and 28 days.

Mr. Davis was united in marriage on September 25, 1982, at Buckhorn, to Tammy Dawn Sinclair. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Denise Davis in 1993; two brothers, Robert Davis and Galen Davis and one sister, Mary Lou Doty.

Mr. Davis was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the United Steel Workers of America union. He had worked as a sandblast operator for 19 years and then as a custodian for the Crocker Schools. Mr. Davis enjoyed mowing his lawn, metal detecting, hunting and fishing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Davis include: his wife, Tammy Davis, of the home near Crocker; his children, Tony (Tiffanie) Neel, Richland; David (Kristen) Davis, Brumley; Levi Davis, Crocker and Nicole Bonebrake, Crocker; seven grandchildren, two that he raised, Cassie (Raymond) Palmer and Tiffany (Brian) Taylor; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck and Bev Davis and Richard and Vivian Davis; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with the memorial service at 6:00 p.m., all on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker, with Pastor Doug Jacobson officiating.

Interment will be at a later date in the Mitchell Chapel Cemetery near Crocker under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.

Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the St. Jude Children's research Hospital with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
