Leonard
Juliano
Jul 1, 1939 — Apr 16, 2019
Leonard C. Juliano of rural Crocker, was born on July 1, 1939 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a son of Leonard and Angela (Fecca) Juliano and departed this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at his residence near Crocker. Mr. Juliano had attained the age of 79 years, 9 months and 15 days.
Leonard was united in marriage for more than 57 years to Miss Patricia Ann Shilinsky, and to this union, four children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kathleen Cornelius.
Leonard was a member of the St. Cornelius Catholic Church, Crocker. He was a lifelong farmer and was a member of the Cattleman's Association, Vienna. His courageous decision to move from New Jersey, to "go West", and bring his family to Missouri in the late 70s continues to resonate a positive impact on his loved ones. He loved farming and growing flowers and plants at his greenhouse just south of Iberia. He had a great love for all animals- horses, cattle, pigs, llamas, and pigeons. He recently raised hundreds of racing pigeons. He was known as "that sweet little man who runs the greenhouse." His family loved him for his ability to save everything and throw nothing away, his cantankerous sayings, his creation of a "push-button" farm operation, and his collection of rocks stored in the "rock drawer."
Those left to mourn the passing of Leonard include: his wife, Patricia Juliano of the home near Crocker; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lenny and Marsha Juliano, Enid, Oklahoma; Christopher and Kathy Juliano and Wayne and Sandi Juliano, all of Iberia; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Jay Kirkpatrick, Osage Beach; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
