Linda Mae Roberson, of Dixon, was born on February 28, 1941, at Hancock a daughter of Michael Robert and Anna Irene (Wilson) Malone and departed this life at 5:30 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 at her residence near Dixon. Linda had attained the age of 79 years, 11 months and 15 days.

Linda was united in marriage on May 19, 1962 at Waynesville to Walter Ben Roberson who preceded her in death on November 16, 1969. In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by two daughters, Lyla Claiborn on April 6, 2010 and Lisa Roberson on July 20, 2011; one son, Kether Roberson; her father, Michael Malone on December 24, 1972; her mother, Anna Irene Malone on August 24, 1992; three brothers, Lloyd Malone, Bob Malone and Pat Malone and three sisters, Minnie Davis, Alta Parker and Reba Wells.

Linda was baptized early in life and had attended the First Baptist Church, Dixon. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company, Dixon as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker. Linda enjoyed drinking her coffee while watching her favorite television programs, she loved her dog, Creamy, but above all she loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Linda include: her son, Benny Roberson, Dixon; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Ruth Ann Malone, Dixon; two sisters, Molly Smith, Iberia and Charlotte "Cooky" Morgan, St. Robert; son-in-law, Jeff Claiborn, Crocker; sisters-in-law, Tina Malone and Jenny Malone Dake, both of Jefferson City; five grandchildren, Lydia and her husband, Nick, Hannah, Nate, Joci and Miranda; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Sophia, Gabriella and Lucy Mae and many other relatives and friends.

The family elected cremation and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, visitation from 10 - 11 a.m. with her memorial at 11.
