Linda K Stokes, age 65 of Crocker, was born on April 28, 1958 in Pulaski County, a daughter of Robert Lee and Dorothy Louise (McComb) Durham and departed this life at 5:45 p.m., on Saturday evening, July 15, 2023 in the Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

Mrs. Stokes was married September 20, 1997 at Hawkeye to Mr. Thomas Robert Stokes. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert on June 17, 1995; her mother, Dorothy on June 7, 1993; her brother, Robert Dale Durham on August 24, 2005 and her sister, Mary Louise Jones on May 30, 2011.

Mrs. Stokes was baptized early in life and had attended the Hawkeye Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, her grandchildren and visiting with everyone. Linda had worked many years at Tan Tara and later for the Oasis Truck Stop. She worked for a short time at a novelty shop in Tuscumbia.

Those left to mourn the passing of Linda include: her husband, Thomas Stokes, Crocker; her children, William Devore, Brumley; Tina Spradling (Paul Humphrey), Crocker and Kathy Devore, Brumley; her siblings, Earl (Loretta) Durham, Iberia; Larry Durham, Mountain View, Jerry Durham, Crocker and Sue Irwin, Iberia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donnie (Nancy) Stokes; Nadine (Dave) Breunig; Antia Stokes and Pat Stokes; her grandchildren, Dakota, Ashton and Rachel and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Linda from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Pastor Richard Harris, Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, Crocker officiating.

Interment will be in the Mount Union Cemetery near Brumley under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers will be Brian Williams, Paul Humphrey, Scotty Durham, Bryan Brooks, Bob Cochran, and Jason Wells. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Criswell, George Rowden, Mike Williams, Seth Durham and Darin Flesner.
