Linda Gail (Green) Wilson, of Roach (Camdenton), was born on April 2, 1936, at Gramby, a daughter of Dewey and Alice (Stout) Green and departed this life at 12:27 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2013, in the Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach. Mrs. Wilson had attained the age of 77 years, 5 months and 14 days.
Mrs. Wilson was united in marriage on April 2, 1954 to Jack L. Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Lou Green.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Crocker Christian Church. She had worked for Kats Drug Store, Florissant, which is now Walgreens, retiring after thirty-one years. She loved tending to her flower garden and shopping.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Wilson include: her husband, Jack L. Wilson, Camdenton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Roxanne Wilson, Springfield; Holly and Kent Shy, Washington and Angie and Carl Noble, Florissant; three grandsons, Kyle Shy, St. Peters; Taylor Wilson Shy, Columbia and Mason Shy, Washington; one great-granddaughter, Zie McKenley Shy; one brother, Tom Green and his wife, Linda, Joplin, and their sons, Tony and Paul; sister-in-law, Joanne Doyle, Crocker; nephews, Todd Doyle and Gary Doyle, both of Crocker; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was conducted for Mrs. Wilson at 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2013, in the Crocker Christian Church with Bro. Larry Richardson officiating.
