Obituary

Louise Marie Zweerink, of Crocker, was born on October 12, 1934, in Pulaski County, a daughter of Charles and Sophia (Bartlett) Hammack, and departed this life at 7:50 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015, at her residence. Louise had attained the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 25 days.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sophia and one brother, Charles "Dink" Hammack.

Louise was a member of the Swedeborg Baptist Church and the Loving Paws Adoption Center, Crocker. She had worked for H & L Supermarket and in customer service at Wal-Mart, as well as being a Mary Kay consultant. Louise was very active in numerous humane societies around the communities and was an avid Swedeborg community supporter. She enjoyed gardening and her dogs Daisy and Zoey.

Those left to mourn the passing of Louise include: two sons, Rick Zweerink, Crocker and Kerry Zweerink, Richland; one daughter, Camelia Melton, Willard; one brother, Nick Hammack, Richland; four grandchildren, Tressa Vance and her husband, John, Waynesville; Shane Webb and wife Nicki, Springfield; Seth Webb and wife, Jamie, Wardsville and Kevin Dearlove, Dallas, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Zoey, Rylee and Zachary; her special friend, Roy York, Swedeborg; her dogs, Daisy and Zoey; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Louise at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2015, in the Swedeborg Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Jacobson, Eureka Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment was in the Swede/St. John Cemetery near Richland under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Louise were John Vance, Roy York, Shane Webb, Seth Webb, Nick Hammack and Dennis George. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Black and Lonnie Colvin.

Memorials are suggested by the family to the Loving Paws Adoption Center, Crocker with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Crocker.
