Lucas Gene Warner, age 42, of Freeburg, formerly of Dixon, was born on June 7, 1981, at Rolla, a son of Larry Gene and Julia Faye (Wagoner) Warner and departed this life at 3:15 a.m., Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023.

Lucas was baptized on December 13, 2022 at the New Harvest Apostolic Church, St. Robert. He had worked as a clerk for a local convenience store. While not at work, Lucas enjoyed the beach, camping, being on the river, working on cars and playing video games.

Those left to cherish the memory or Lucas include: his mother, Jill Wagoner, Freeburg; his children, Dustin Warner and Tierra Warner, both of Kansas City, Missouri and Trinity Fenton of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Elijah and Mavryn; his sisters, Misty Dawn Jenkins, Crocker and Brooklynn Baker, Dixon; uncles; aunts; nephews, niece and many other relatives and friends.

Lucas was preceded in death by his father, Larry and a nephew, Gideon Jenkins.

The family will host a private celebration of life at a later date and time.
