Lucille Marie Lee, of Rolla, was born on September 22, 1936, at Overland, a daughter of August and Frances (Lovell) Hanneken and departed this life at 9:10 p.m., Friday evening, September 28, 2012, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Mrs. Lee had attained the age of 76 years and 6 days.

Mrs. Lee was united in marriage on November 1, 1955, at Malden, to Carl Wain Lee, they were blessed with three children. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wayne Hanneken.

Mrs. Lee attended the Central Community Church of God, Rolla. She had worked Civil Service as a Communication Specialist Supervisor, retiring in 1993. Mrs. Lee enjoyed needlepoint, writing, editing and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel (abbasgirl) and was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Lee include: her husband, Carl Lee, Rolla; one son, Michael Lee and partner, Chelsea Cookson, Springfield; two daughters, Cynthia Foulks, Rolla and Carla Marie Lee and partner, Jacob Martin, Kansas City; one sister, Marcella Gaines, Overland; three grandchildren, Kristina Oldham and husband, Neal; Lisa French and husband, Lee and Thomas Quick; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Lana French; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Lee at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in the Central Community Church of God, Rolla, with Pastor Dan Phillips officiating.

Interment was at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in the Mill Creek Cemetery, Auburn, MO
