Obituary

Yolanda Lynne Bowling, of Crocker, was born on June 19, 1953, at Waynesville, a daughter of Truman Eugene and Orpha Florene (Wade) Cassidy and departed this life at 4:01 p.m., Monday, May 29, 2017, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Lynne had been in failing health and had attained the age of 63 years, 11 months, and 14 days.

Lynne was united in marriage on May 4, 1974, at Roby to Donald Bowling and to this union two daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents and one sister, Laura "Cricket" McGowan.

Lynne had received her cosmetology license from the Lebanon Cosmetology School and had been a beautician at Linda's Head Shed, St. Robert for several years as well as being housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Crocker Saddle Club; she enjoyed cooking, music, her horses, but most of all cherished her grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Lynne include: her lifelong friend, Don Bowling, Crocker; two daughters, Ginger Skaggs and her friend, Kenneth Frazee and Tracie Bowling and her friend, Josh Denson, all of Crocker; one brother, Charles Cassidy, Dixon; three grandchildren, Jayse Adam Skaggs, Daylynn Dawn Bowling and Kanon Shane Bowling and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Lynne at 11: 00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017, in the Crocker Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Ancel Evans officiating.

Interment was in the Assembly of God Cemetery, Crocker under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Lynne were Jason Bowling, Ryan Bowling, Darren Bowling, Donnie Bowling, Patrick Bowling and Lucas Bowling. Honorary pallbearers were Timothy Bowling, Eddie Bowling, Calvin Bowling, Roy Bowling, Terry Bowling, Andy Bowling, Jayse Skaggs and Kenneth Frazee.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Crocker Assembly of God Church with envelopes available at the church or the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
