Marcella Erma Vineyard Bure, of Brinktown was born on August 23, 1932 and baptized as an infant at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Dennison, Iowa, a daughter of Hugh and Gertrude Leona (Bremer) Veasman and departed this life at 11:37 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Bure had attained the age of 86 years, 5 months and 21 days.

Mrs. Bure was first united in marriage to Rector Ralph Vineyard and to this union, six children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 18, 1976. In 1982, she married Charles Francis Bure who preceded her in death on November 5, 1988. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her father in 1993; her mother in 2013 and one brother, Hughie Clyde Veasman in 1936.

Mrs. Bure was a member of the Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Brinktown; the St. Ann's Ladies Sodality and the St. Ann's Ladies Quilting Circle both in Brinktown. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Missouri Veteran's Home, St. James and the Fort Leonard Wood Hospital. Mrs. Bure enjoyed her family as well as gardening, canning and quilting.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Bure include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Steve and Beverly Vineyard and Gary Vineyard; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mary and Michael Williams, Lake Ozark; Betty Daniels, Derby, Kansas; Darlene and Mark Schaben, Meta; and Brenda and Bob Gruber, Fulton; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gerald and Ella Mae Veasman; Omer Veasman and Kenneth and Linda Veasman, all of Dixon; one sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Don Knapp, Dixon; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
