Margot Marie Maria DeHahn, of Dixon, was born on June 12, 1955, at Weyher, Germany, a daughter of Karl and Rosal (Wienbrot) Hornbach and departed this life at 4:25 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2017, at her residence. Mrs. DeHahn had attained the age of 62 years, 2 months, and 2 days.
Mrs. DeHahn was united in marriage on July 4, 1975, at Edenkoben, Germany to John Alton DeHahn and to this union two daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosal and one grandson, Dylon Joy in 1994.
Mrs. DeHahn was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Dixon. She was a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker and enjoyed nature, her flower gardens and walking in the woods.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. DeHahn include: her husband, John DeHahn, Dixon; her father, Karl Hornbach, Weyher, Germany; two daughters, Christina Joy, Dixon and Sabine DeHahn, Laquey; one brother, Alfred Hornbach, Weyher, Germany; two sisters, Siegrid Glassgen, Landau, Germany and Beate Solartz, Munich, Germany; three grandchildren, Lakota, Cheyanne and Sierra; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held for Mrs. DeHahn at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with the Rev. Joseph Hoi, St. Theresa Catholic Church, Dixon officiating.
Interment was in the Egan Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Family and friends served as pallbearers for Mrs. DeHahn.
