Marilyn Marie Whittle, of Lebanon, formerly of Eldon, was born on March 23, 1957, at Fairbanks, Alaska a daughter of Bert Granville and Elizabeth (Wallis) Whittle and departed this life at 2:20 a.m., Thursday morning, October 8, 2020 in the Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lebanon. Marilyn had attained the age of 63 years, 6 months and 15 days.
Marilyn had attended and was a graduate of Eldon School. She had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was always in church and an active member as long as her health allowed. Marilyn was an avid helper and supporter of handicapped people, doing whatever was needed. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts and loved her many nephews and nieces.
Those left to mourn the passing of Marilyn include: two brothers, Don Whittle, Crocker and Phil (Jill) Tannehill, Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Marjorie Geiger, Camdenton; numerous nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bert in 1987; her mother, Elizabeth in 1981; her daughter, Tiffany Whittle; one sister, Louise Barnett and her husband, Edward Barnett; her sister-in-law, Elsie Whittle; four nephews, Charles, Troy and Carlos Barnett and Steve Whittle and her very dear friend, Danny.
Graveside services were held for Marilyn at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia with Bro. Bill Claiborn, Hilltop Christian Union Church, Crocker officiating.
Pallbearers for Marilyn were Bert Whittle, Gene Whittle, Butch Whittle, Daniel Whittle, Dalton Whittle and Herb Bluebaum.
