Obituary

Martha Jean Sullins, of Crocker, was born on October 5, 1926, at Dewey, Oklahoma a daughter of Earl David and Ethel (Chamberlain) and departed this life at 10:19 p.m., Friday evening, August 24, 2018, in the Rolla Manor. Mrs. Sullins had attained the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 19 days.

Mrs. Sullins was united in marriage on February 18, 1969, at Waynesville to Gerald Bartlett Sullins, he preceded her in death on January 27, 1999. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Hull on October 10, 2009; one grandson, Jonathan Hull on April 20, 1999; her father in 1981; her mother in 1980; three brothers, Leo, Lyle and Bill Reed and one sister, Doris Toms.

Mrs. Sullins was a member of the Crocker Presbyterian Church where she had played the piano and organ for many years. She had worked as a clerk for the City Hall in Waynesville for several years as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Garden Club, helped with Meals on Wheels and enjoyed gardening and going antiquing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Sullins include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Kirt Bopp, Longboat Key, Florida and Janice and Jim Hayes, Rolla; five grandchildren, Michelle and Jim Coyner; Lisa and Mark Moreland; Chris and David Creamer; David and Tammy Hayes and Andy Hull; six great-grandchildren, Danielle, Jordan, Megan, Brice, Chase and Paige; two great-great-grandchildren, Blake and Remi; and many other relatives and friends.
