Mary Kathleen "Kathi" Ioane, 65, of Dixon, was born on July 26, 1956, in Dixon Mo, a daughter of Robert Dean and Mary Ellen Joann (Williams) Cardin and departed this life at 3:06 a.m., Tuesday morning, August 24, 2021 at her residence.
Kathi was united in marriage on August 9, 2000, to Dominic Ioane. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Cardin on May 16, 2018; her uncle Elmer Cardin and her niece, Ellen Cardin.
Kathi had been employed as a substitute teacher, an administrator at Ft. Leonard Wood, as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker. In her spare time, Kathi helped her father with his business, R & M Fiberglass manufacturing and Country View Acres Campground. She was a fantastic seamstress, a baker, she loved gardening and tending her chickens. Kathi and Nick loved dancing, but above all, she loved and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to mourn the passing of Kathi include: her husband, Nick Ioane, Dixon; her mother, Mary Cardin, Dixon; her children, Andrew Ioane and his wife, Chanelle Waynesville; Rachael Martin and Christina Jarman, both of Dixon; Angel Trapp and her husband, Jim of Florida; her siblings, Larry (Jeannie) Cardin, Dixon and Eddie (Tina) Cardin, Iberia and Dawn (Jeremy) Tope, Dixon; her grandchildren, Kiesha, Brionna, Katarina, Natalie, Haley, Logan and Eva, with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m., all on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Bro. Robert Hamm officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date and time in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville.
The family wishes to invite all to a luncheon following Kathi's service at the Country View Acres Campground at 14750 Cliff Road, Dixon, Missouri 65459.
