Mary Ann Santos, 77, of Crocker, was born on November 29, 1943, at Highland Park, Michigan a daughter of Hugh J., Sr. and Sarah M. (Robertson) Chapman and departed this life at 2:33 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Mercy Hospital Lebanon.
Mrs. Santos was united in marriage on October 19, 1963, at Comstock, Michigan to Mr. David Dennis Santos and to this union, two children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Sarah.
Mrs. Santos was a United States Air Force veteran having served from January 2, 1963 until she was honorably discharged on May 18, 1964 at Otis Air Force Base, Massachusetts, having attained the rank of A2C/E3.
Mrs. Santos had accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of the Baptist Church in Texas. She had worked for United Cable Company in Abilene, Texas for 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, watching the Animal Planet and spending time with her family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Santos include: her husband, David Santos of the home near Crocker; her son, John Santos and his wife, Chrystal and her daughter, Sharon Santos, all of Crocker; two brothers, Hugh Chapman, Jr., state of Michigan and Tom Chapman, state of California; one sister, Sarah Chapman, state of Michigan; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., on Friday morning, November 19, 2021 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Pastor Robin Salsman, First Baptist Church, Crocker officiating.
Interment with full military honors will be in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, Waynesville under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
