Matthew John "Matt" Ritchie Eickbush, age 44, of Dixon was born on October 31, 1978, at Topeka, Kansas, a son of Fredrick D. Eickbush and Nancy A. Wall and departed this life at 8:48 a.m., on Thursday morning, January 12, 2023 at his residence.

Matt was united in marriage on April 25, 2009, in Puyallup, Washington to Miss Pamela Marie White. He was preceded in death by his father.

Matt had worked for Freedom Care as an enrollment specialist but was a musician by heart. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, hiking, camping and fishing, but above all he loved being with his family.

Those left to mourn the passing but cherish the memories of Matt include: his wife, Pam Ritchie of the home near Dixon; his children, Christopher Russell, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Ian Ritchie, Milton, Washington; Austin Ritchie, Dixon and Madalyn Winch and her husband, Taylor, Waldorf, Maryland; and many other relatives and friends.

In following Matt's wishes, a private family service was held followed by cremation under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
