Obituary

Nash Wyler Maddox, of Dixon, was born on September 5, 2001, at Rolla, a son of Jonathan Charles Maddox and Sheila Devon Null and departed this life at 3:52 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2020 near Dixon as the result of an automobile accident. Nash had attained the age of 18 years, 9 months and 25 days.

Nash had attended the Dixon R-1 High School and had just completed his Junior year. He was a member of the Junior ROTC program at Waynesville, the Dixon Volunteer Fire Department, and the DHS Traction Team. Nash was employed at the Boiling Springs Campground. Nash enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with friends. Nash loved tinkering with old cars with his dad, long talks with his mother, collecting knives with his uncle Rob, his dog Cooper and hanging out with his cousins. Nash had hopes of joining the Marines and working in the law enforcement field. He loved his country and could be depended on for lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Nash will be remembered for his silly sense of humor and his overwhelming love for his family; from which he never said goodbye without an I love you and a bear hug.
