Nicole G. C. Finnigan, of Dixon, was born on October 23, 1937 at Orleans, France a daughter of Andre and Madeleine (Bareau) Trifigny and departed this life at 5:40 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the Dixon Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Finnigan had attained the age of 81 years, 8 months and 10 days.

Mrs. Finnigan was united in marriage on October 1, 1960 at Orleans, France to David James Finnigan and to this union, four children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Finnigan, Sr. on May 1, 2015; one son, Ralph David Finnigan on February 28, 2004; one daughter, Virginia Finnigan in February 1964; her parents, Andre and Madeleine; and two brothers, Christian Trifigny and Francois Trifigny.

Mrs. Finnigan was a member of the Catholic faith and was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed going to the river and hummingbirds, and just being with her family made her happy.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Finnigan include: one son, David Finnigan, Jr, Dixon; one daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Matt Novak, Dixon; one daughter-in-law, Shari Finnigan, Rolla; one near-daughter, Denise (Burns) Boyd; one brother, Daniel Trifigny, and three sisters, Ginette Romauge, Colette Florentin and Maryse Tondis, all of France; five grandchildren, Jessica, Maci, Sadie, Madeleine and Andrea; three great-grandchildren, Krista, Erin and Kylie, and many other relatives and friends.
