Obituary

Norma Geraldine "Jerri" Miller, age 87, of Dixon was born on March 17, 1939, at Jerome, Missouri, a daughter of Fred James and Norma Corene (Buckner) Wagoner and passed from this life on Monday, June 8, 2026 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

Jerri was united in marriage to William L. Miller on October 14, 1989, in Maries County, he preceded her in death on March 1, 2013. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Elms; two daughters, infant, Lisa Elms, and Brenda Arthur; three brothers, Bryon Wagoner, Bob Wagoner, and Marion Wagoner; and three sisters, June Miller, Janet Hall and Joyce Jackson.

She was baptized early in life at Jerome and at the time of her passing was a member of the New Harvest Apostolic Church, St. Robert. She had worked as a licensed dietitian for the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon, was a home health care giver for many in the area as long as her health permitted, as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed needle pointing, doing cross puzzles and gardening.

Those left to mourn the passing of Jerri include: two sons, Dennis Elms and wife, Salley, Rolla; and Billy Elms, Dixon; two daughters, Linda Lusk and husband, John and Cynthia Meyer, Cario, Egypt;  three brothers, Bill Wagoner and Jake Wagoner both of the state of Washington; James Bruce Wagoner and wife, Brenda, Jerome; two sisters, Judy Wagoner and husband, Delaine, and Jill Wagoner all of Dixon; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren;  and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Jerri will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, June 12, 2026, in the Apostolic Faith Church, 23020 State Road D, Jerome, Missouri 65529, with Pastor Jeff Gray, New Harvest Apostolic Church, St. Robert, officiating.   Per Jerri's wishes inurnment will be in the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon. Arrangements were under the care of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.

Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the church or C/O Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box GG, Dixon, MO  65459.

Jerri's family would like to thank the Apostolic Church of Jerome and Connie Goodridge for doing the music.
