Janet Ozell "Ozze" Woolsey, of Dixon, was born on September 21, 1947, at Newburg, a daughter of Warren and Clara Emiline (Woolsey) Bayes and departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2013, at her residence in Dixon. Ozell had attained the age of 65 years, 7 months and 26 days.
Ozell was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Linda Peglow, Cleo Beasley and Sheila Hasting.
Ozell was owner and operator of A Frame Bar and Grill, St. Robert. She enjoyed her pets, family and friends, children, being in the outdoors and attending Relay for Life activities.
Those left to mourn the passing of Ozell include: two brothers, Dennis Beasley and Michael Beasley, both of Dixon; one sister, Tammy Beasley, Dixon; her best friend of twenty-seven years, Janie Greer, Dixon; aunts; nephews; nieces; cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted for Ozell at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Pastor Larry Albertson, pastor of the First Assembly of God, Dixon, officiating. "Amazing Grace", "In The Garden" and "Angels Among Us" were played for the service.
Interment under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Dixon was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Newburg. Pallbearers for Ozell were Mike Beasley, Sam Brade, Eric Beasley, Nathan Beasley, Dennis Shattock, Ben Dumas, Kyle Henson, and Robert Annette. Honorary Pallbearer was Willie Woolsey.
