Patsy Ann Burris, of St. Robert, formerly of Rolla, was born on January 25, 1942, at Rolla, a daughter of Edmond Richmond and Eveleen Rosie (Sisco) Spurgeon and departed this life at 5:55 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Mrs. Burris had attained the age of 76 years and 8 months.

Mrs. Burris was united in marriage on March 14, 1992, at Rolla to Chester Leon Burris who preceded her in death on December 5, 2004. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Edmond and her mother, Eveleen.

Mrs. Burris was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 0331, St. Robert and had worked as a nurse's aid for many years as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Burris include: two sons, Edgar Lawrence Light, Rolla and Michael Richard Light, St. Robert; one brother, Richard Lewis Spurgeon, state of California; and many other relatives and friends.
