Paul Dean Evans, of Dixon, was born on August 9, 1951, in Pulaski County, a son of Floyd R. and Minnie I. (Howser) Evans and departed this life at 9:10 a.m., Sunday, January 7, 2018, at his residence. Paul had attained the age of 66 years, 4 months, and 29 days.

Paul had worked as a cook at various places at the Lake of the Ozarks. He enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Floyd on June 6, 1987; his mother, Minnie on January 6, 2009; and four brothers, an infant, Charles Fredrick Evans, Alston Evans, Melvin Evans and Danny Evans.

Those left to mourn the passing of Paul include: one sister, Judy Parham, Dixon; three nephews, Joshua Morrison, Jason Parham and Derek Morgan; one niece, Jessica Barnhart; and many other relatives and friends.

In honoring Paul's wishes, the family elected cremation with a memorial service and inurnment to be announced in the Spring of 2018, in the Freedom Cemetery near Dixon.
