Provo Dean Wilson, 78, of Swedeborg, was born on August 12, 1944, at Amoret, a son of Charles Riley and Blanche Mildred (McKIbben) Wilson and departed this life at 2:09 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in the Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.

Mr. Wilson was united in marriage on March 15, 1997 at Hurley, to Miss Claudene Henson. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles in 1997; his mother, Blanche in 2017;and two sisters, Bonnie Jean Wilson Fenton and Joyce Malloy.

Mr. Wilson had worked in construction and welding for all his working life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Wilson include: his wife, Claudene Wilson, Swedeborg; two sons, Charles R. Wilson and Jeremy Warren Henson; one daughter, Annette Hull; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held for Mr. Wilson at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the Swedeborg School Gymnasium, 17507 State Highway T, Richland (Swedeborg) MO  65556 with Pastor Doug Jacobson officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
