Rachael Marie Kirk, age 31, of Dixon, was born on September 30, 1993, at Rolla, a daughter of David Mathew Kirk and Jessica Dione G'Sell. Rachael departed this life on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 near Dixon.

Rachael was a 2012 graduate of Dixon High School and had attended Missouri State University to pursue a career in journalism when life provided her an alternate path, one she treasured dearly, the most important- she became a mom. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Ever. Rachael was the greatest supporter of Ever and all her passions. Her daughter was her world and she was dedicated to moving mountains to ensure all of Ever's dreams were pursued. Rachael was the definition of a "sports mom" and enjoyed sharing her love for softball openly with Ever and their softball community.

Those left to mourn the passing of Rachael include: her daughter, Ever Leigh Kirk, Dixon; her father David Kirk, Dixon;  paternal grandparents, Don and Penny Moats,Dixon; maternal grandparents: Tom and Barbara G'Sell, of Dixon; her siblings, Tristan Hottum and Gavin Hottum, both of Dixon and Mia Hottum, Springfield, Illinois; her uncles and aunts, Eric and Tina Kirk, Bolivar; Brandy Marlow, Osage Beach; Jose Harrison, Crocker, Sarah G'Sell; Cora and Jeff Thomas; Marilyn Fergot; Becky and Stanley Martin all of Dixon and David and Julia Anderson, Western Grove, Arkansas; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Rachael was preceded in death by her mother, Jessica G'Sell on December 5, 2015; her grandfather, Mark Kirk and her great grandparents, Irene Harpstrite and Don and Mary Anderson.

A visitation will be held for Rachael from 3 – 5 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral and Cremation Services, 205 W. Third Street, Dixon, MO
