Richard Arthur Catlin, II, age 64, of Dixon, formerly of Barton, New York was born on May 24, 1961, at Barton, New York a son of Richard Arthur, I and Judith Irene (Hobbie) Catlin and passed from this life on Sunday, December 14, 2025 in the Mercy Hospital, Springfield, after a battle with cancer.

Richard was a United States Marine Corp veteran and had worked as a line foreman for a cable company. He enjoyed his job and co-workers, old Mustangs and especially his two grandchildren, Jess (Little man) and Elizabeth.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard; his son, Jesse Allan Catlin; his brother, Duane and his grandparents, Charles and Alma Catlin and Ralph and Sophia Hobbie.

Those left to mourn the passing of Richard include: his wife, Kimberly; his son, Cody; his daughter, Kayla; his mother, Judith Catlin; brother, Stephen Catlin and his wife, Brenda; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Catlin; his two grandchildren, Jess (little man) and Elizabeth; nephews; nieces and many cousins; his Marine buddy, Darryl Akery and his wife, Debbie; Jimmie Elseman and his wife, Debbie; Dawn Strubberg and Jim and Shirley Wodohodsky and many other relatives and friends.

A private burial will be held at a later date and time.
