Robert Joe Rogers, age 84, of Dixon, was born on June 5, 1939, at St. Louis, a son of Leman Steven and Zedna Louise (Long) Rogers and departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Rogers was united in marriage on August 28, 1966 at St. Louis to Miss Kathryn Eleanor Geisel. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 30, 2018, his parents, Leman and Zedna, and brother Gary Rogers.

Mr. Rogers had worked as a roofer for over 35 years. He was enjoyed being a jokester,  playing cards, playing washers, mowing lawns, and family get togethers.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Rogers include: his children, Richard Ramage, Branson; Chad (Christina) Rogers, Laquey; Barbara "Barbie" (Jerry) Braun, and Autumn Bower, all of Dixon; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his brother, Lloydd Rogers, St. Louis and many other relatives and friends.

The family elected cremation and will host a private celebration of life at a later date.
