Roger Allen Bean, age 60, of Dixon, was born on October 3, 1964, at San Diego, California, a son of William Wayne, Bean Sr. and Wanda Ailene (McCart) Sinor and departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in the University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia.
Roger was united in marriage on July 9, 1987, at Dixon, to the former Miss Patricia Lynn Richmond and to this union, two children were born. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda; his step-father who raised him, Tom Sinor; one brother, William W. Bean, Jr. and one grandson, Malachi Bean.
Roger was a United States Army veteran having proudly served his country from 1982 to 1984. He was baptized in 1984 and at the time of his passing he had attended Grace Community Church of Dixon. Roger had worked at Boys and Girls Town of St. James until his health no longer permitted. He enjoyed wrestling and singing, but above all he loved his family and enjoyed family time.
Those left to mourn the passing of Roger include: his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Patricia Bean of the home; one son, Joseph Bean; one daughter, Barbara Brown and her husband, Andy; one brother, Earl Bean and wife, Debbie; two sisters, Mary Redcay and husband, Bob and Patricia Dumas and husband, Ben; five grandchildren, Kyle Wilson and his husband, Matthew, Levi Brown and his wife, McKalyn, Cierra Brown, Caden Brown and Summer Bean; two great-grandchildren, Saphria and Amariah and many other relatives and friends.
Following the wishes of Roger, the family elected cremation under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home, Dixon.
Memorials in honor of Mr. Roger A. Bean are suggested per the wishes of the family to help with the cost of the funeral services and may be left at the funeral home or in care of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services P.O. Box GG Dixon, MO 65459.
