Ronald Ellis "Ronnie" Gray, of Dixon, was born on April 10, 1962, in Waynesville, a son of Harry Ellis and Wanda Sue (Campbell) Gray and departed this life on Sunday, December 27, 2015, near Dixon on Creek Road. Ronnie had attained the age of 53 years, 8 months and 17 days.
Ronnie was a United States Army veteran having served active duty from November of 1983 until November of 1985. He had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and followed his Lord in baptism on April 23, 1995 and at the time of his passing was a member of the First Christian Church of Dixon. Ronnie was employed at the Fort Leonard Wood Hospital in supply and maintenance. He enjoyed cars, boats, anything with a motor and was known for being a great story teller.
Those left to mourn the passing of Ronnie include: one son, Aaron Michael Gray, Owensville; his parents, Harry and Wanda Gray, Dixon; four brothers, John Gray, Dixon; Donnie Gray and his wife, Sheri, Aviano, Italy; John Michael McGovern and his wife, Beverly and Jared Jenkins and his wife, Rebecca, all of Windsor; one sister, Tammy Hurst, Eldon; uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Sue Gray on April 24, 1961 and his companion, Sandy Tilley on December 27, 2015.
