Obituary

Rosilee Marie Rynning, age 91, of Dixon, was born on March 3, 1932, at Texas Canyon, Arizona, a daughter of Orville and Gladys (Adams) Robeson and departed this life at 7:20 p.m., Monday evening, October 9, 2023 in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation, Dixon.

Mrs. Rynning was united in marriage on September 3, 1953, at El Paso, Texas to Ronald Arthur Rynning and to this union, three children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 28, 1995; her parents, Orville and Gladys; a son-in-law, Victor Matlock; three brothers, Roy Robeson, Wayne Robeson and Dean Robeson and one sister, Carol Venberg.

Rosilee was a member of the Rainbow Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Widow Support Program at Ft. Leonard Wood. Rosilee enjoyed volunteer work, gardening, sewing, crafts and her children and grandchildren. She was a registered nurse at various locations while following her husband's military career, as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Rynning include: her children, Ross Rynning and his companion, Brenda Tolbert, Columbia; Ronalee Matlock, Dixon and Ronda and Carol Price, Centennial, Colorado;  her brother, Doug Robeson, Idaho; her four grandchildren, Lance Rynning, Stacy Rynning, Justin Matlock and his wife, Joni and Travis Matlock and his wife, Tina; five great-grandchildren, Tristin, Jenna, Jace, Travin and Tratin; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the Burnett Church at 15101 Church Lane, Dixon with Pastor Danny Bassett officiating.

A graveside service will be held at a later date and time in the Dixon Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.

Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Macular Degeneration Association with envelopes available at the office of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services or mail to P.O. Box GG Dixon, MO  65459.
