Roy Earl McKinnon, Sr., of Dixon, was born on October 7, 1965, at Waynesville, a son of Norman Eugene and Fern Marie (Atterberry) McKinnon, and departed this life at 7:20 a.m., Wednesday morning, October 5, 2016, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Roy had attained the age of 50 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

Roy was preceded in death by one daughter, Jessica McKinnon on April 22, 1998 and his father, Norman on April 23, 2006.

Roy enjoyed being on the family farm, working on cars, fishing, hunting and riding his Harley.

Those left to mourn the passing of Roy include: one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Napua McKinnon, Jr., Augusta, Georgia; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Jeffrey Craps, Augusta, Georgia; his mother, Fern McKinnon, Dixon; the mother of his children, Michele Figueroa-Williams, Augusta, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Shirley McKinnon, Dixon; one sister, Treasa McKinnon and Chris Brown, Dixon; three grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aleina and Samantha and one expected in the near future; one nephew, Joseph; one niece, Emma; his significate other, Michelle Helton, Dixon; and many other relatives and friends.
