Obituary

Sabian Drew Salais, 31, of Hastings Nebraska, and formerly of Dixon, Missouri, passed from earth to heaven on the morning of November 3, 2025, due to a car accident.

Sabian was born on May 26, 1994 in Pueblo, Colorado, to Cesar and Marsha Salais.  He graduated from Dixon High School in 2012 and then completed training at Linn State Technical College for Heavy Equipment Operator.

He had just gotten engaged to Samantha "Sami" Klatt, the love of his life.  She also had a daughter, Colby, and son, Colten, who he loved as his own.  He always said that Sami was a dandy!

Sabian was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved coon hunting, hunting, fishing, gardening, sports, grilling and smoking meat, cooking, and collecting guns.  He also enjoyed skinning animals and tanning hides. He had so many other skills and hobbies and lived life to the fullest!

Sabian loved helping people and had a big heart.  He was always the one that the kids ran too!

Growing up, he participated in youth football, wrestling, baseball, basketball, and MMA.  He was a Boy Scout.  He and his brother, Sabastian, always enjoyed lighting fireworks on July 4th and Sabian was known to produce some pretty big bangs in our neighborhood with Tannerite.

Sabian attended church growing up and was baptized in the Gasconade River on July 30, 2023.  God brought him through many struggles in his life, ultimately saved him, and he is now resting in Jesus arms.

Sabian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Pat Tubergen of Boone, CO, and Luis and Antonia Salais of Fowler, CO who he loved dearly.

Sabian is survived by his parents, Cesar and Marsha Salais, brother Sabastian, and wife Tristen Salais, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral services for Sabian will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Dixon Assembly of God Church, Dixon with Pastor Gregg Thee officiating under the direction of Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
