Sean Patrick Gibbons, age 59, of Dixon, was born on April 12, 1964 at St. Louis, a son of Robert and Sandra (Miller) Gibbons and passed from this life on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his home near Dixon.

Sean was baptized into the Catholic faith early in his life. He was a 1982 graduate of Dixon High School and had been self employed as a flooring contractor. Sean enjoyed walking the dogs and star gazing.

Those left to mourn the passing of Sean include: his father, Robert Gibbons of Dixon; his mother and step-father, Sandra and Larry Stricklan of Dixon; his siblings, Brian (Kelly) Gibbons, Robert Gibbons and Theresa Bianco, all of Dixon; several nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Sean was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Gibbons on October 11, 2022.

The family elected cremation under the direction of Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
