Sharon May Brunston, of Crocker was born on June 22, 1959 in St. Louis a daughter of Ralph Ronald and Freida May (Kelly) Monell and departed this life at 11:28 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at her residence. Sharon had attained the age of 60 years and 11 days.

Sharon was united in marriage to Michael Brunston who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Monell; her step-father, Wayne Pursley, Sr. and three brothers, William Kelly Monell, Thaddus Elmer Monell and Ronald Lee Monell.

Sharon was a devoted housewife and homemaker.

Those left to mourn the passing of Sharon include: her daughter, Thinisha Wright, Houston, Texas; her mother, Freida Pursley, Crocker; her step-mother, Norma Monell, Houston, Texas; two sisters, Cherry Pursley and Jeana George, both of Crocker;  three step-sisters, Sandy DeClue, Sharon Judd and Brenda Judd; five step-brothers, Carl Judd, Bud Pursley, John Pursley, Ronnie Pursley and David Pursley;  two grandchildren, Kasin Wilkerson and Gregory Pouland; two great-grandchildren, Bentley Thompson and Jayce Thompson; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Sharon from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. all on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, Crocker with Pastor Richard Harris officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the wishes of the family.
