Sharron Alaine
Lawrence
Oct 3, 1967 — Mar 13, 2026
Sharron Alaine Lawrence of Crocker, MO was born October 3, 1967, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and broke the chains of this old world on March 13, 2026 at her daughters home in Crocker, surrounded by love. Sharron had attained 58 years, 5 months and 10 days. She lived a life centered on faith, family, and kindness toward others. She was baptized into our Lord in 1986 in Shreveport and at the time of her passing was a member of Crocker Christian Church. As her illness progressed and she became home bound she greatly enjoyed the ministry and worship of Elevation Church.
She was united in marriage on May 1, 1986, in Marshall, Texas, to J.R. Lawrence, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved mother, Glenda Johnson; her maternal grandmother, "Mamaw" Reba Dew; her parents-in-law, Junior and Alice Lawrence; her brother, Raylon Clark; her aunts, Barbara Pantalion, Rose Dew, and Jean Sibley; and her special uncle, Rick Quinley.
She leaves behind her loving children Jessica (Caleb) Wall and Quinten (Delayne) Lawrence all of Crocker; her grandchildren Brylee, Aubree, and Anslee Wall, also Everly and Jackson Lawrence who were the joy of her life and whom she affectionately called "my babies."; her siblings, Shannon (Hal) Smith, and Robbie (Betty) Clark along with her beloved nieces Dana Clark, Danielle Smith and Robbin McCumpsey all of Louisiana; her aunts, Mary Eastman, Martha Allen, Kay Cole, and Shelia Austin; her uncles, Buddy Dew and special uncle Nelson Cole; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
She was deeply grateful for the friendships of Troy and Heather Trusty, Jim and Mary Shockley, Polly Wright, and Kim Helton.
Throughout her life she worked faithfully and was known for her kindness and warm spirit. She was employed by the Pulaski County Library District, where she became affectionately known as "the library lady." Her final position was serving as a secretary for Lakeside Truss Company.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, playing FreeCell, watching Live PD, a good hot cup of coffee or ice cold Coke, but most of all spending time with her beloved family.
Her favorite verse of Scripture was Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This verse was her mantra all through her battle against cancer, turning an initial prognosis of 2 months into nearly two years!
Jessica and Quinten would like to express their sincere gratitude to their Aunt Shannon for her dozens of trips to help care for Sharron and Sharrons babies with her "will win" attitude that got us through so many trying times. They would also like to thank "Aunt" Winnie Remedies for her tender care and her unwavering upbeat nature during Sharrons final week. We are forever grateful and we love you as Sharron would say "To the moon and back!"
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the compassionate medical care provided by Dr. Vipul Bhanderi, Dr. Gregory Biederman, Dr. Brittany McCarty, the staff of Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, and Lauren Russell BSN of Phoenix Home Health and Hospice.
Her life was a testimony of love, resilience, and devotion to those she held dear, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
And though our hearts feel the weight of this loss, we take comfort in the words of Scripture from II Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Those words reflect the strength, courage, and steadfast faith that Sharron carried throughout her life. She fought bravely, loved deeply, and held firmly to her faith in Christ. While we mourn her absence here, we rejoice in the promise that her race is now complete and her victory is secure. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on in her children, her grandchildren, and in all who were blessed to know her.
