Shelby Rene’ Beasley, age 47, of Dixon, was born on December 2, 1978, at Columbia, a daughter of Dennis Virgil and Sheila Dianne (Stokes) Beasley and passed from this life on Tuesday evening, June 16, 2026.
Shelby was a graduate of the Dixon R-1 High School and then attended college to receive her Certified Nursing Aid License and at the time of her passing she was employed as a Certified Medical Technician with Mi Serenity in Rolla. The field of healthcare was her true calling, she enjoyed working with the physically and mentally challenged. She cared about her clients and strived daily to be a positive influence in their lives. Shelby loved her job and all those she worked with as a caregiver. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching horror movies and True Crime Stories but most of all she enjoyed the time she could spend with her family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Shelby include: her mother, Dianne Beasley; her three sons, Darian Beasley (Rachael Wade), William Carter and Kaiden Carter, all of Dixon; her fiancé, Chris Respress; her brothers, Eric Beasley, Springfield; and Nathan Beasley and his wife, Sara, Eldon; her grandchildren, Jayden, Ellie, Nylah, Talia and Percy; her uncles, Mike Beasley and Troy Stokes; her aunts, Tammy Beasley and Sherry Simpson; her great aunt, Addie Sies; nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends.
Shelby was preceded in death by her father, Dennis on August 3, 2019; her paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as uncles and aunts.
Visitation will be held for Shelby from 4 p.m. until the time of her memorial service at 5 p.m., on Friday, June 26, 2026, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Ashley Mazza officiating. Her sons, Darian, William and Kaiden and her brothers, Eric and Nathan will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home the evening of her service or c/o Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box GG Dixon, MO 65459.
