Shelia Ilene Lewis, of Dixon, was born on June 5, 1947, at Lawrenceville, Illinois a daughter of Paul Foster and Goldie Lucille (Harvey) Johnson and departed this life at 8:55 p.m., Monday evening, November 13, 2017, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon. Shelia had attained the age of 70 years, 5 months and 8 days.

Shelia had attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Bridgeport, Illinois before moving to Missouri. She loved reading her Bible, being with her family and fishing. She had worked as a care giver for a short time.

Those left to mourn the passing of Shelia include: one brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Vickie Johnson, Tucson, Arizona; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Leigh Ford and Charlotte and Paul Burchfield, all of Sumner, Illinois; one niece, Elsie Glosser, Dixon; two great-nephews; three great-nieces; five great-great-nephews; five great-great nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Shelia from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with the funeral at 1 p.m., all on Friday, November 17, 2017, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.
