Shirley Jean Neal, 79, of Centerview, Missouri was born on June 18, 1943, a daughter of Eugene and Doxie Mae (Jefferies) Plemmons and departed this life at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022 in the Camdenton Windsor Estates.
Mrs. Neal was united in marriage on November 14, 1959 in Crocker to Howard Wayne Neal and to this union, three daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lorraine Hickman.
Mrs. Neal was baptized early in life and at the time of her passing was attending the JC Cowboy Church in Warrensburg, MO. She had worked for Carlyle Van Lines for over 20 years as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and sewing.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Neal include: her husband of 63 years, Howard Wayne Neal of the home; her daughters, Lisa Pfost, state of Montana, Cynthia Dawson and her husband, John, Linn Creek, MO and Lori Miller and her husband, Walter, Warrensburg, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Susie Plemmons, St. Louis MO; one sister, Dorothy Wilson, Crocker MO; one brother-in-law, Tom L Neal and his wife, Susan of Linn Creek; six grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Matthew, Jonathan, Shawn and Addison; five great-grandchildren, Ayla, Waylon, Noah, Dove and Elijah and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. all on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker with Pastor Keven Mannering officiating.
Interment will be in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Mrs. Neal are Matthew Churchwell, Shawn Churchwell, Noah Neal-Estill, Christopher Pfost, Dominic Downey and Bobby Stark. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Churchwell, John Dawson, Walter Miller and Ryan Neal.
Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
