Obituary

Susie Ann Davis, age 67, of Dixon, was born on August 4, 1957, at Waynesville, a daughter of Everald and Betty May (VanMeter) Rose and passed from this life on Thursday morning, January 16, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Davis was united marriage on August 11, 1979, at Dixon to Mr. Gary Lee Davis and to this union, five sons were born. She was preceded in death by her father, Everald in 2009; her mother, Betty May in 2011; and two sisters, Ellen Sue Rose in 1954 at the age of three years and Gloria Bryant in 2024.

Mrs. Davis was baptized early in life at the Gasconade Baptist Church near Dixon. She was a homemaker and housewife and loved being with her family as well as caring for her many pets and her flower gardens.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Davis include: her husband, Gary Davis, of the home near Dixon; her children, Kevin Davis and his wife, Tina of Dixon;  Jamie Davis and his wife, Mickey of St. James; Michael Davis and his wife, Melissa of Vienna; Joey Davis of Dixon and Danny Davis and his companion, Teresa of Laquey; her siblings, J.R. and Rose Rose, Ralph and Mila Rose, Roger and Ellen Rose and Frances Johnson; her grandchildren, Kyle, Dustin, Brandon, Shawn, Brianna, Austin, Dakota, Justin, Jordan, Ryan, Corey and Anna; her great-grandchildren, Eliza, Abby, Olive, Skilynn, Tanner, Adi, Lilianna (Aveline), Wyatt (Faith), Rosabelle and Ledger; and many other relatives and friends.

Following Susie's wishes. the family elected cremation under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services and will host a celebration of life in memory of Mrs. Susie Ann Davis to be announced at a later date, time and place.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Susie Ann Davis are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box GG, Dixon, MO  65459.
