Sylvia Johnson, 84, of rural Dixon, was born on December 28, 1937, at Waialua, Hawaii, a daughter of John and Trinadad (Rodriques) Marcella and departed this life at 11:59 p.m., Friday evening, July 29, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Johnson was united in marriage on May 6, 1978, at Mt. View, California to Mr. Ronald D. Johnson. She was preceded in death by one son, Eric William Johnson and her parents, John and Trinadad.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Brinktown and the Ladies Sodality of the church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, making baby clothing and traveling as well as being a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Johnson include: her husband, Ron Johnson of the home near Dixon; her children, John D. Pacheco, Albany, Oregon; Fred M. Pacheco, Portland, Oregon; Lisa M. Pacheco, Paris, Tennessee and Sally A. Roggasch, Albany, Oregon; five grandchildren, Michael, Bryan, Kevin, Michael and Zachery; one great-grandchild; two brothers, John Marcella and Dennis Marcella, both of the state of California; three sisters, Loretta Preisser, Carson City, Nevada; Elois Johnson, Kansas City, Missouri and Denise Fik, Santa Clarita, California and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Johnson will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2022, in the Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Brinktown, with her Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Basil Tigga celebrating and Deacon Michael Brooks assisting.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Sylvia Johnson are suggested by her family for Masses or per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the church the day of service or the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
